DIRTY COUNTRY | independent film Dirty Country is a 2007 documentary that tells the real-life story of novelty musician Larry Pierce. Dirty Country premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 14, 2007, where it won the 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award. Produced by Lunacy Productions, it was the directorial debut of Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett, co-hosts and creators of the Found Footage Festival.
