Summer Youth Music School rebranding
The Summer Youth Music School (SYMS) at the University of New Hampshire is an academic summer camp for music, founded in 1941. Work encompassed identity development and graphic design for a fully branded advertising campaign. The new SYMS mark is tied to the UNH logo (designed by Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv) typographically and chromatically. The two marks are designed to be displayed together if needed. The typographic treatment for SYMS and the five horizontal lines evoke stylistic elements of traditional sheet music.
