RATES + FREELANCING
I typically charge an hourly rate, but if requested I can charge by the project. I apply a very similar rate for design and illustration projects, and if the project includes both I keep the rates consistent. I provide a project estimate before starting any project. I do not do spec work, or work on any kind of contingency basis. My rates are competitive with today's market.
My illustration rates are reasonable because I generally retain the copyright on the art. For an extra fee, I can sell an exclusive copyright.
