The Beast of Wolfe's Bay is a contemporary adaptation of Beowulf, combined with academic satire and a dose of contemporary nerd culture. It follows Anthropology graduate student Brian Wegman and folklorist Winifred Roth as they join a group of law enforcement officers in their investigation into strange happenings, with evidence pointing to cryptozoology. The Beast of Wolfe's Bay was funded through Kickstarter and has since been featured in several academic publications about Beowulf in popular culture.

—AIN'T IT COOL NEWS Gods of Asgard has been the definitive graphic novel adaptation of the Norse Myths since its publication in 2007. Gods of Asgard received the full funding amount from the Xeric Foundation, which awarded publication grants for comic projects on the basis of artistic, scholarly, or literary merit. Gods of Asgard has been used as a textbook at a number of universities, is the subject of several academic articles, graduate theses, and doctoral dissertations, and accompanied the exhibit "We Call Them Vikings" from the Swedish History Museum.

I'm proud to have contracted with IDW Publishing on their excellent licensed comic books for the Ghostbusters and Back to the Future IP. With these projects, I collaborated with writers Erik Burnham (Ghostbusters) and Bob Gale (Back to the Future; also, co-creator of the Back to the Future franchise) on a series of anthology stories and backup and fill-in art.
