ART DIRECTION: DISTILLED
Distilled is the first release from Paverson Games, an indie board game publisher in Menomonie, Wisconsin. It was designed by Dave Beck, Professor of Game Design at UW-Stout, with all visual art and assets designed and illustrated by me.
Graphic design of all game components, design of all icons and gameplay visuals, illustration of all visual elements, and character design, conceptualization, and copywriting for the Distiller Identities. As a ground-up collaboration rather than work-for-hire, I was also involved in various stages of conceptual development regarding theming and game mechanics.

VISUAL IDENTITY: PAVERSON GAMES
As part of the project, I branded the studio Paverson Games. Paverson's projects focus on rich, heavily-themed experiences, with focus on history, culture, the "ancient world," and the idea of games as arcane wisdom to be uncovered or unlocked. I represented these ideas with a Sphinx, a symbol of ancient wisdom, puzzles, challenges, and riddles from the ancient world.
