CASE STUDY: Leveled Textbook Proposal
Can mythology and literature be taught through differentiated instruction? This proposal attempts to provide a creative solution to assist in this goal, within the context of an English class, an area where leveled textbooks have not yet caught on. The prototype presents layered information, allowing instructors to plan an inclusive curriculum for all students. This proposal is a subset of my research into educational comics, educational tools, and the design of fun experiences. This proposal was developed as a graduate student at Ohio State, under the guidance of professor Paul Nini. Concepts from this proposal were taken from Gods of Asgard and went on to inform the creation of Super-powered Word Study.
