VISUAL IDENTITY
The Menomonie Theater Guild (MTG) is a community organization founded in 1958 to support and produce local theater, as well as help restore the historic Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts and keep it operational. It remains the Mabel's chief tenant and primary creative partner, and is the oldest community theater organization in western Wisconsin. The MTG brand identity was redesigned to be clean and modern, presenting an icon of an M made up of overlapping stage spotlights, and text set in Cooper Hewitt, an open-source typeface designed by Pentagram for the Cooper Hewitt Museum (part of the Smithsonian Institution), distributed free for public use.
