As a designer-illustrator, I have developed coursework in illustration and guided students in independent investigations into illustration, as well as comics and graphic novels. Samples are from courses taught at the University of Wisconsin–Stout.

Class: Digital Illustration | UW–Stout Part of the Reading Across Campus initiative, sponsored by UW–Stout's Literature Committee. This project had students create illustrations depicting and inspired by Mary Shelley's seminal novel. |
Project: Craft Beer Packaging
Class: Illustration Design | UW–Stout This project requires students to create an illustrated design system for a craft brewery and present its guidelines and application. Project: Illustrated Map
Class: Illustration Design | UW–Stout This project draws inspiration from regional history and culture, including a visit to the Rassbach Heritage Museum and guest lecture by the director of the Dunn County History Center. Students were instructed to choose a scale (macro to micro), a design direction, and an application. |
